Why Does the Quran Call Jesus Isa and Not Yasue?

The Quran has Jesus very wrong. If you thought Jesus' name in Arabic was Isa you would be very wrong. In fact Jesus' name in Arabic is Yasue. Later we will go into why this is a huge issue for the integrity and reliability of the Quran we have today. This brings multiple issues in mind such as which language was the Quran written in and does the Quranic view of Jesus actually align with History? Well when we look at the Quran according to Islamic Scholarship we see that the Quran was revealed to Muhammad in the Arabic language by Allah through Angel Gabriel. 

Islam Gets Jesus Historically Wrong Linguistically and Scholarly

Now there are a lot of areas where Islam gets Jesus wrong such as creating a Jesus that does not align with historical records. According to Islam Jesus is just a Prophet sent by Al-Lah to bring people to the revelation of Islam. Muslims believe that the Injeel or “Good News” was sent to Jesus as a book of what to teach the Jews or Christians. It also states in the Quran that it was made to appear that Jesus died on the cross when in reality Al-Lah deceived people and sent another man to die in his place. According to Islam Jesus is not God and was somehow born through the virgin birth of Mary through the Spirit of God without a Father on earth. 

Now before we get into the issue with the Quran calling Jesus Isa and how it shows the Quran is corrupted let us first refute the claims made about Jesus in the Quran. Historically speaking the Bible was written closer to the time of Jesus in comparison to the Quran. To believe a book that came at least 700 years after the original book is not only absurd but intellectually dishonest. So just because the Islamic Narrative claims the books before it have been corrupted, does not make it true. Historically we know Jesus is not just a prophet because we have the Injeel, Epistles(Which are Historical Letters Written to Churches and Groups), and secular sources confirming this. According to secular sources such as Tacitus, Josephus and even the Epistles which are historical documents, Jesus is mentioned either as God or that he claimed to be God. So even if we disagree that Jesus Christ is God there is no denying that he professed to be God and not just a prophet. This is the reason he was crucified by the Romans and Jews, because he Professed to be the “I AM” a title only given to God. Jesus is also the “Good News” or Injeel so it would make no sense for Jesus to have the “Good News” being sent to him. If Al-Lah made it appear that Jesus died on the cross this would remove his integrity as God and make him a “Master of Deceivers” as the Quran calls Al-Lah. Al-Lah would also be responsible for Billions of people throughout history becoming Christian for following Jesus teachings which are obviously contradictory to the Quran. There are so many issues with this false narrative that Islam pushes, and it doesn't make any sense on so many levels. And how

could Jesus not be God if he was born without a physical Father? We know Theologically and Biblically this makes Jesus 100% God and 100% man. Because Jesus was born in the flesh with Mary as his mother. But because the Holy Spirit conceived Jesus in Mary, Jesus Father is God the Father, making him God. Most of these contradictions in the Quran are easily understandable by just taking a quick look into history and comparing the Quran with the manuscripts which authentically are proven to come before it without any corruption.

Evidence Islam Copied the Christian Greek Manuscripts

The errors in the Quran are evident as we can see historically that the Jesus of the Quran is not the Jesus of History. But furthermore we see that Jesus is called Isa and not Yasue. Why is this a big problem for muslims and the integrity of the Quran? Well whenever we look at the History of the Quran it was written in Arabic. However scholars tell us that the Injeel or “Good News” was written in Greek. The issue with this is that Islam claims to be the final revelation which is supposed to come after the Injeel and Torah. But the Quran seems to just be a corrupted copy of the Torah and Injeel, and Al-Lah getting Jesus' name wrong is a perfect example of this. If Al-Lah really revealed the Quran to Muhammad in Arabic it he would have called Jesus Yasue. It does not make sense for an All-Knowing God who revealed the Quran in Arabic to give Muhammad a translated word from two different languages. In fact Isa is just a Greek hellenized form of the Word Yahweh or Yeshua. The issue with this is that it shows the Quran was a corrupt copy from the previous Injeel and Torah manuscripts. Because if the Quran did not copy the previous manuscripts, and was truly revealed in Arabic God would have called Jesus Yasue his proper name not Isa. This shows fabrication, lack of integrity and error in the quran and questions the notion if Muhammad or his scribes had good intention. 

Islam is a Puzzle that doesn't match the other Abrahamic Faiths

The stories from All “Abrahamic Faiths” are very similar, however Islam appears to just be a copy trying to insert itself in a puzzle where it doesn't fit. The issues with the Quran reliability are astounding and very problematic for Muslims. Another thing to consider is that the Quran we have today we are not even sure if it is the original Quran. But before we get into that there is more evidence that Muhammad actually stole from the Greek and Hebrew Manuscripts of the Bible. Since Muhammad was an illiterate uneducated man he had his closest scribe Zayd Ibn Thabit write the whole Quran.

Muhammad actually told his scribe to learn Hebrew to learn, read, write because he did not trust the Jews. This becomes very problematic because if his scribe learned the language of the manuscripts he copied from it further proves that Muhammad just copied them and added his own spin.  Another issue with this is that if Muhammad was truly illiterate he could not confirm what his scribes were writing down. He could say Allah revealed the sky is blue, and they could write that Muhammad ate an apple. Then to make it worse, we only know of his love companion Zayd Ibn Thabit; rumors say they had a secret homo relationship. But regardless we still don't know the other 45 scribes; we don't know their religion, integrity, academic knowledge, ro anything at all! This is a major red flag and issue for the integrity of the Quran! When you thought it couldn't get worse it actually does! When looking at non biased, non Islamic sources we can see that the Quran was actually written at least 200-300 years after the death of Muhammad. The issue with this is that they played a game of telephone for hundreds of years and then wrote the book down on paper. No matter how many people play this game of telephone it does not make it any more reliable as we know through telephone things become misinterpreted or changed. For example, let's say

I play telephone with my three friends Tommy,Sally and John. I tell Tommy “I like red trucks”, and he tells Sally, “I like tree trunks”, this is an example of him misunderstanding me. Then if Sally wants to intentionally be dishonest she can tell John “Nate has a crush on Sally '', which would be dishonest and clearly not true. This is the dilemma with the “Word of God” actually not being written until at least 200 years after the death of Muhammad. To make it worse before they actually had the Quran they had after Muhammads death Uthman burned the other versions of the Quran, only leaving us with the one Muslims have today. There are just too many issues with the reliability and eros in the Quran. Without lies Islam dies.

Who Jesus Really Is?

This is why Scriptures tell us to “Let the God’s Word Be True and every man a liar…”(Romans 3:4) The Quran is not a “final revelation” but just a copycat of the scriptures which came before it with a mixture of paganism to appease to all the faiths around Muhammad the that time period. Jesus claimed to be the “I AM”, the “Alpha and the Omega”. If Jesus is not God why would he claim to be God in the Flesh? The point is that the Jesus of the Bible aligns a lot more with history than the Jesus of the Quran. The Quran aligns with a fantasy fake Jesus, while the Bible is more historically accurate and sticks true to the prophecies revealed in the Torah. Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Testament. Jesus Christ is the eternal God in the Flesh, the Alpha and the Omega, and the I AM. We should listen to who Jesus claimed to be, not what a corrupt book
