Why Does Allah Get The Trinity Wrong in the Quran if He Is All Knowing?
The Trinity is a very Ancient Concept found in the Biblical Narrative throughout the Torah and Injeel and even throughout history. It is a concept widely held by Christians today and has been since Christianity emerged around 2,000 years ago. In fact the Trinity is actually something that was not fully revealed to humans until the time Jesus Christ roamed this earth in the flesh. Before that we actually see revelation within the Torah that there is a Triune God; however it was not something commonly known at that time.
The more you read the Torah the more you can actually see the prophetic revelation of the Triune God revealed 2,000 years ago. For example we see in Genesis 1:26 that God refers to Himself as “Us” and “Our” which was written thousands of years before the majestic Us and Our existed.
This shows us that God is referring to Himself showing more than one, alluding to the Triune God in the very first chapter of the Torah. We also see in Genesis 18:1-4 that Abraham calls the LORD three men; this shows that the Abrahamic God is one God while still being three persons which is the concept of the trinity. To simplify this concept it’s like how we have a Body, soul and spirit but are still one human, we aren't three different humans. This would make sense as to how we are made in God’s image, he intricately, intelligently and intimately implemented his image on each and every single one of us.
We know that the Trinity has been revealed at least thousands of years before the time of Muhammad. However the Quran and false prophet Muhammad somehow still get the Concept of the Trinity wrong. According to Early Church Fathers like Tertullian, or Biblical passages such as Colossians 2:9 we see that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the Triune God. But somehow Muhammad still seems to get the Trinity wrong which would question the authenticity of His Revelation or God's ability to be an All-Knowing God.
Regardless if you disagree with the Trinity or not, facts do not care about your feelings. In Quran 4:171 Allah states, “O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes regarding your faith; say nothing about Allah except the truth.1 The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger of Allah and the fulfillment of His Word through Mary and a spirit ˹created by a command˺ from Him.2 So believe in Allah and His messengers and do not say, “Trinity.” Stop!—for your own good. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him! He is far above having a son! To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs.” This shows that Allah mistakenly adds Mary to the Trinity which would be contradictory to what Christians or Jews have ever believed in Biblically or Historically.
Muslims will typically try refuting this by saying well clearly Al-lah is referring to Roman Catholics, because they worship Mary as well. This is just completely wrong theologically from a non biased perspective. I will be the first to say I believe Roman Catholicism is not completely biblically sound and does not theologically line up with scripture completely. However to say that Roman Catholics are what Muhammad was referring to in this verse is intellectually dishonest and disingenuous. Roman Catholics affirm the Triune God which is the Father, Son(Jesus) and Holy Spirit and Mary is not a part of that. But even if the Roman Catholics were to worship Mary as the fourth God, that would no longer be a Trinity but 4 gods they worship, making the god they serve a tetragod. This is why without lies Islam dies. This answers our questions "Why Does Allah Get the Trinity wrong"?
Another weak argument used to defend the lies of Islam is a conspiracy theory only accepted by Islamic Scholars that there was a weird Christian sect that believed in Mary as being a part of the Triune God. When you ask for the evidence you'll be pointed nowhere because it’s literally just a conspiracy theory with no basis or evidence. So the question now becomes who is Al-Lah referring to? Did Allah accidentally add Mary into the Trinity showing his incompetence and lack of being an All-Knowing God? This seems to be the very case.
A God who is All-Knowing is Omniscience which means God knows everything from the past, present or future. According to Islam the Quran is the Word of God which was revealed to Muhammad by the Only True Omniscient God. But if God is Omniscient even if he disagrees with the Trinity, would he completely misunderstand the concept itself? The answer is no, this shows that the God of Islam is not all knowing because if he was he would not mistakenly get the Trinity wrong.
So now the question comes: was the Quran written by a false god, or was it a matter of human error? I believe it is both, and there is evidence to show this. We know historically that Muhammad actually had influence from Paganism, Christianity and Judaism. One great example of this is that Jesus is called Isa, when in fact that is an Arabic Translation of the Greek Hellenized version of the Hebrew word Yeshua or Yahweh. If the whole Quran was revealed in Arabic, the word would be Yasue not Isa, this shows that Muhammads scribe actually just translated Jesus into the Arabic language instead of writing it down from a divine revelation from God. Now the reason I believe there was some false god who was involved is because the Injeel actually warned us hundreds of years beforehand about Islam. The Injeel states in Galatians 1:8, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Muhamamd had a revelation from who he believed to be Angel Gabriel, but the Quran is not only proven to copy the faiths before it, but it also teaches another gospel from an angel. From a Biblical perspective Satan masquerades himself as an angel of light. We also know that Muhammad believed that his revelations were from a demon pretending to be an angel.
Regardless of how we put it, the proof is in the pudding. It is an undeniable fact that the God of Islam is either not All-Knowing or living up to his title the Master of Deceivers.
Does this Make the God of Islam a Liar?
